The Log House Museum, a City of Seattle Historic Landmark built in 1904, is located one block from the popular regional attraction of Alki Beach, known to Coast Salish people as sbaqʷabqs or Prairie Point, and is within walking distance of several businesses and restaurants, Metro Transit and Water Taxi Shuttle Stops, and historic and cultural sites. The Log House Museum features a wrap around porch, exposed old growth logs, a native plant garden, and a courtyard.
