The collections of the Seattle Municipal Archives focus primarily on Seattle city government. They have an extensive map collection, photograph collection and some home construction records. The municipal archives has no use fee for their photographs and most online images are scanned at a very high resolution. This site also offers links to over 25 other local collections and databases.

The mission of the Puget Sound Maritime Society shall be the collection, preservation and display of objects, relics and data of maritime interest, with special emphasis on the history of the Pacific Northwest maritime activities. West Seattle Herald/White Center News
The local newspaper for the communities of White Center and West Seattle. Publisher of the popular and relatively timeless West Side Story way back in 1987.
