Log House Museum

The Log House Museum is a city of Seattle Historic Landmark. It was built as the Carriage House to the Historic Fir Lodge (Alki Homestead) in 1903-1904. Today, it is the home of the Southwest Seattle historical Society.

Hours: Fridays and Saturdays, 12 to 4pm.

Admission: The museum offers free admission. Donations are gladly accepted.

Directions: The Log House Museum is located one block from Alki Beach. Street parking only. Accessible by King County Metro Bus Lines #50, #773, or #775.

Schedule a Tour

Schedule a tour with your student or tour group. Learn about the history of the Log House Museum and Alki Beach. Tours are one hour in length and include a half hour walking tour to Alki landmarks and sites of significance.

Group tours are $3 per student/person (chaperones, one per every ten students, receive free admission).
