The Log House Museum is a City of Seattle Historic Landmark built in 1904 as the Carriage House to the Historic Fir Lodge (Alki Homestead). It is located one block from the popular regional attraction of Alki Beach, known to Coast Salish people as sbaq?abqs or Prairie Point and is within walking distance of several businesses and restaurants, Metro Transit and Water Taxi Shuttle Stops, and historic and cultural sites.

The Log House Museum features a wrap around porch, exposed old growth logs, a native plant garden, and a courtyard. Amenities include:

The Log House Museum is open to the public on Friday and Saturday: Noon to 4pm. The museum will be closed on December 27th & 28th.
